Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking an Epic Applications Systems Analyst II to lead business analysis, configuration, and testing of information systems for clinical documentation. This role emphasizes collaboration with users and IS peers to define requirements and ensure reliable system functionality.

The ideal candidate will have IT experience in healthcare, strong analytical ability, and the capacity to build and test moderate-scale applications while supporting ongoing operations and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
  • 2+ years of IT experience in healthcare or a related business area.
  • Experience with Epic Applications or similar systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with users and IS peers to capture business needs and develop requirements for small to medium applications.
  • Analyze and document application processes and functions.
  • Define design alternatives and develop specifications with business partners or vendors.
  • Build or configure systems.
  • Develop and execute test scripts to ensure software accuracy and validity.
  • Create IS internal procedures and documentation.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot moderately complex problems.
