Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health Plans is seeking an Epic Application Coordinator to design, configure, validate, and optimize Epic workflows and master files. The role supports complex enhancements or upgrades and requires clear communication while working remotely.

You will drive system changes and work with training teams to enable effective adoption across the organization. Experience with Epic configuration and CRM integrations is essential; certification within 120 days is required or preferred.

Qualifications

  • Epic certification is highly preferred and you will be required to complete and pass certification in assigned Epic module within 120 days of employment.

Who You Are

As an Epic Application Coordinator, you bring your Epic configuration experience and understanding of clinical/business operations workflows and system configuration to the table and you don’t disappoint. You design, configure, validate, and repeat. Then you facilitate complex application and systems enhancements or upgrades along the way. You are highly effective in your communication (verbal and written) because you know the value of establishing working relationships that foster optimal quality teamwork and education, especially when working remotely. And, having potentially worked in an Epic silo before, you are excited to expand your knowledge base across all Epic master files and other Epic applications.

What You’ll Do
  • As an Epic Analyst, you'll implement and maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) workflows
  • Facilitate complex application and systems enhancements or upgrades
  • Analyze and resolve complex system problems
  • Partner with the training team(s) to support organizational training.
  • Create detailed documentation, including but not limited to: system design documentation, procedures, process and data flows, project plans, and recommendations for system enhancements.
What You’ll Bring
  • Epic certification is highly preferred
  • Ideally, the certification would be in Cheers CRM but we are open to other Epic certifications
  • You will be required to complete and pass certification in assigned Epic application module(s) within 120 days of employment in this role.
  • Experience implementing CRM workflows or integrating with healthcare organizations
  • Two years operational experience in a clinical or healthcare business operations setting or two years experience in Information Technology.
  • 2+ years’ experience configuring an Epic application
  • Understand the Agile process and know how to manage the tasks presented to you

Salary Range: Minimum 33.91/hour - Maximum 59.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
