Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Application Coordinator to design, build, test, validate, and support Epic clinical and revenue cycle applications. The role requires achieving and maintaining Epic certification and deep knowledge of software functionality and workflows within the clinical or revenue cycle domain.

The coordinator will be on-call periodically to provide tier III support and will work with clinical and financial representatives to design future-state workflows and implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or clinical licensure in nursing, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory or related field required.
• Four years of experience in business administration, information technology or science, healthcare or related field required (in lieu of degree).
• One year of EMR/Epic experience preferred and Epic certification expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, validation, and ongoing support of clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Obtain appropriate Epic certification and maintain knowledge of software functionality and workflows.
• Provide 24/7 tier III on-call support for Epic clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Collaborate with clinical/financial departments to design future-state workflows and implement changes.
