Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking an Epic Application Coordinator to lead design, build, test, and support of Epic clinical and/or revenue cycle applications. The role requires Epic certification and deep knowledge of workflows, with 24/7 on-call support as part of the duties.

Collaboration with clinical and financial departments is essential to shape future-state workflows and ensure a robust Epic environment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or current clinical licensure in a related field is Required.
• In lieu of degree, four years of experience in healthcare IT or related field Required.
• 3 years of healthcare or IT experience including EMR application experience Required.
• In lieu of degree, seven years of healthcare or IT experience including EMR experience Required.
• 1 year working directly with Epic applications in a clinical or IS field is Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, validate, and support clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Obtain Epic certification and maintain knowledge of software functionality.
• Provide on-call tier III support of Epic applications on a 24/7 basis.
• Implement configuration changes to the Epic system as approved by committees.
• Design future-state workflows with clinical/financial departments.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and maintain relationships with users.
