Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking an Application Coordinator to design, build, test, validate, and support Epic clinical and revenue cycle applications. The role includes obtaining Epic certification, maintaining knowledge of software functionality, and being on-call for tier III support.

Candidates should have Epic experience or certification, and a strong background in healthcare IT or IT in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or clinical licensure required.
• 4+ years of healthcare or IT experience required; EMR experience preferred.
• Epic certification required or Epic proficiency with high score.
• On-call 24/7 support for Epic applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, validate, and provide ongoing support for clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Obtain and maintain Epic certification; stay current on software functionality and workflows.
• Provide tier III level support for Epic systems and implement approved configuration changes.
• Collaborate with clinical/financial departments to design future-state workflows and build the system accordingly.
