Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Application Coordinator to design, build, test, validate, and support clinical and revenue cycle applications. The role requires Epic certification and deep knowledge of Epic workflows, with on-call responsibilities to provide Tier III support.

The coordinator collaborates with clinical and financial teams to implement future-state workflows and ensures strong relationships with Piedmont co-workers, physicians, and users of the Epic suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or clinical licensure required or four years of related experience in business/IT/healthcare.
• EMR experience required with Epic applications; Epic certification or high proficiency required.
• Must be available for on-call 24/7 support as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, validate and support clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Obtain Epic certification and maintain knowledge of software functionality and workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical/financial departments to design future-state workflows and build systems accordingly.
