Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Application Coordinator to design, build, test, validate, and provide ongoing support for Epic clinical and revenue cycle applications. The role requires Epic certification and deep knowledge of the software and related workflows.

The coordinator will be on-call periodically (24/7) for tier III support and will implement configuration changes approved by the appropriate committees.

Qualifications

• Epic certification is required and current proficiency is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or clinical licensure required, or 4+ years of relevant experience in healthcare IT/related field.
• 3 years of healthcare or IT experience including EMR/Epic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, validate and support Epic applications.
• Obtain and maintain Epic certification and keep knowledge current.
• Provide 24/7 tier III on-call support for Epic clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Collaborate with clinical/financial departments to design future-state workflows and implement changes across the Epic system.
