Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Application Coordinator to design, build, test, validate, and support clinical and revenue cycle applications. The role requires Epic certification and deep knowledge of our workflows, with on-call 24/7 Tier III support for Epic applications.

Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to implement future-state workflows, manage configuration changes, and maintain strong relationships within the Information Services group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or current clinical licensure in nursing, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory or related field required.
• In lieu of degree/licensure, 4 years of experience in business administration, IT or healthcare required.
• 1 year working with EMR/Epic applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Obtain Epic certification and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality and workflows.
• Be on-call periodically to provide Tier III support of Epic applications (24/7).
• Implement configuration changes to the Epic system approved by the committee.
