Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking an Epic Analyst III to provide daily operational support, own I&T for multiple Epic Modules, and lead testing and upgrade activities. Ideal candidates hold Epic Certification in Prelude, understand healthcare workflows, and can mentor teammates while coordinating large IT projects.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification in Prelude is required.
• Experience with 3+ Epic Modules or related systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare interfaces (HL7, X12) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support and system updates.
• Own I&T for 3+ Epic Modules or related systems.
• Lead testing, review release notes, and coordinate upgrade activities.
• Mentor Epic analysts and assist with problem resolution.
• Provide on-call support.
• Support IT projects including enhancements, workflow design and optimization.
• Investigate complex errors and coordinate resolutions.
• Collaborate with I&T and management.
• Lead initiatives to connect Epic to vendors, downstream systems, new apps.
• Organize data from Epic to create executive reports.
• Proactively identify future business needs.
• Coordinate and contribute to large-scale IT projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Epic Analyst III

• Daily operational support and system updates (40%)
• I&T ownership of 3 or more Epic Modules or related Application Systems
• Utilize PM skills for leading the planning, test scripts updates, review of release notes, testing workflow and build changes for upgrades
• Mentor and coach Epic analysis on problem and resolution efforts
• Provide On Call Support
• Project projects which include supporting system enhancements/new features, enhanced workflow design and optimization (40%)
• Investigate complex system errors and/or failures and coordinate resolution of the issues
• Collaborate
• Communicate with I&T and management staff in the evaluation and selection of prospective I&T systems that support or are bolt-on to the (20%)
• Lead efforts and initiatives to establish new connections to Epic for vendors, downstream systems or new applications
• Organize and prepare data from Epic and other systems to create reports geared towards executives
• Proactive in identifying future business needs requirements
• Coordinate and contribute effectively to the implementation of large scale I&T projects

Minmum knowledge/skills/abilities

• Epic Certification in Prelude
• Experience with documentation, workflow design and product configuration in a healthcare organization
• Actively participate and able to lead in all project phases including design, build and validation, implementation and optimization
• Knowledge of technical applications and interfaces typically used in health care environments
• Knowledge of SQL, HL7, X12 or other healthcare languages/standards
• Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions
• Familiarity with outpatient physician office workflows
• Ability to analyst, organize and prioritize work while working under pressure and meeting multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $85,616 - $128,000, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
