Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking an IT Director Epic Patient Access Applications to lead Epic EMR initiatives, drive patient access improvements, and shape a strategic roadmap.

You will manage teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and stay at the forefront of AI and automation in patient engagement while aligning with enterprise EMR strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing Epic teams, preferably multi‑specialty.
• Proven track record in Patient Engagement and Access projects.
• Deep knowledge of Epic modules: Prelude, Cadence, MyChart and Referrals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic Patient Engagement and Access initiatives and teams.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap aligned with EMR strategy.
• Drive KPI improvements defined by senior management.
• Collaborate with VP of EMR Systems and stakeholders for system optimization.

IT Director Epic Patient Access Applications Remote Eligible - Onsite Downers Grove as needed

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Director, Epic EMR to join our team. A strong executive presence, exceptional relationship‑building skills, and a commitment to continuous delivery are essential for success in this role. Reporting directly to the VP of EMR Systems, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient access and engagement through innovative technology solutions. Your expertise will directly contribute to our organization’s strategic goals of growth, improved patient outcomes, and expanded capacity for care. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in leading Epic EMR initiatives, with a deep understanding of patient engagement and access related modules. Adopting and implementing any Epic AI features that drive efficiency in Patient Access applications. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Patient Engagement and Access and aligned with the VP of EMR Systems’ vision and enterprise‑wide EMR strategy. Lead Epic Patient Engagement, and Access related teams Drive measurable improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by Duly senior management team. Manage and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Partner with the VP of EMR Systems and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimization of EMR systems. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in EMR and advocate for the adoption of innovative solutions, especially AI and Automation features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Epic teams' management, preferably with multi‑specialty experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, vendor management, and collaboration skills.
• Proven track record of success in leading and executing Patient Engagement and Access and optimization projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of Epic Patient Engagement and Access related modules: Prelude, Cadence, MyChart, and Referrals.
• Strong understanding of the EMR landscape and its impact on healthcare operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare administration or related field

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $155,000 - $180,000 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
