Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Elgin, IL seeks a front desk/phone-based coordinator to support patient scheduling and information verification. The role emphasizes a friendly, service-driven patient experience and accurate documentation in EPIC, with onsite work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of patient-facing experience, a strong focus on customer service, integrity, and reliability. Base pay reflects market value with opportunities for bonuses as part of total rewards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of patient/client-facing experience.
• Customer Focus: Demonstrates excellence in customer service and satisfaction levels for internal and external customers.
• Integrity/Ethics: Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, sincerity. Trusted to do the right thing.
• Personal Job Competence: Performs core responsibilities of position efficiently and effectively within parameters of organization policies, procedures and external governmental agencies.

Responsibilities

• Answers heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone
• Patient Appointment Scheduling
• Sets the tone for a positive experience
• Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
• Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned
• Reviewing schedule
• Pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol
• Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled on the same day.
• Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports
• Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate.

Job Description

Hours: Monday through Friday between 8a - 5pm. Onsite at Local medical Office- Elgin.

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.34 - $24.52, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
