Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an EPCM Project Director for the Life Sciences North America region. You will lead multi-office teams in planning, engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning for advanced manufacturing facilities.

You will drive project scope delivery, budgets, and schedules, mentor PMs, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring safety and quality across projects in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related discipline or equivalent years of experience
• At least 15 years of experience in managing EPCM projects related to industrial facilities, with 5+ years in Life Science Industry recommended
• Mentor for other PMs and Project Engineers
• Strong safety culture in design and on site
• Experience in multi-office projects (possibly international)
• General engineering knowledge for Life Science projects (infrastructure, process, utilities, support)
• Experience in design project cost management, forecasting and earned value
• Experience in developing proposals and estimating design services hours
• Program Management experience with Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Commissioning (EPCM) elements
• Preferred: CCM, PE, PMP or Architect license/certification

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management of project teams, staff recruitment and development
• Oversee financial and technical performance on projects
• Develop and deliver on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules
• Build strong client relationships and lead project delivery
• Travel to client sites as needed
