Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Contracts Manager in Houston, TX. You will lead a team of contract specialists and administrators across EPCM projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with contractual terms.

You will manage the complete contracting process, negotiate terms, oversee procurement activities, and coordinate with site teams to handover and close contracts. Strong leadership and governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive EPCM project experience with capital projects.
• Training in contracts/legal and general project management.
• Experience drafting commercial terms and understanding accompanying legal implications.
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes and governance principles.
• Knowledge of quality, environmental, health and safety regulations and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Implements the contract management plan and procurement processes.
• Drafts contracts and terms; negotiates to meet project goals.
• Manages the bidding process and contract awards.
• Handover to site administration and contract closeout.
• Oversees forecasted final costs and cash flow; manages contractual changes.
• Supervises and develops the contract team; conducts status meetings.
