Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee high-impact PV solar and energy storage projects in the United States. You will manage development, construction, commissioning, and turnover to Operations, traveling up to 30% to project sites.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in construction project management; renewable energy preferred.
• Familiar with PV solar design and NEC/NFPA basics.
• Experience in distributed generation or utility-scale PV; energy storage preferred.
• PMP certification preferred; strong Excel/CPM/MS Project skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and document RFPs and scope for EPC firms.
• Lead due diligence on solar sites and assess reports.
• Act as Owner's Representative for EPC contract management.
• Review EPC schedules, budgets, and safety plans.
• Coordinate interconnection processes and stakeholder communications.
• Support permitting and approvals as needed.
• Oversee project turnover to Asset Operations.
• Prepare executive status reports and project plans.
