Job summary

AES Clean Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee high impact photovoltaic solar and energy storage projects from development through turnover to Operations. The successful candidate will manage distributed generation and utility-scale projects across the US, with periodic travel and reporting to the Director of Project Management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic solar design and technical standards.
• Experience in distributed generation or utility-scale PV solar and energy storage preferred.
• Project Management Institute PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and document RFPs and scope of work for EPC firms; participate in EPC selection and contract negotiation.
• Conduct due diligence on potential solar sites and evaluate site suitability.
• Act as Owner's Representative for EPC contract management on high impact PV solar and energy storage projects in the US.
• Review and manage EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scope, subs, and permits.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to ensure contractual deliverables meet budget and schedule.
• Lead project turnover from Construction to Asset Operations and support policy/procedure development.
