Job summary

AES Clean Energy seeks an EPC Project Manager to oversee high-impact PV solar and energy storage projects from development through turnover to Operations. You will lead EPC scope definition, due diligence, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder coordination across US locations.

Requires 5+ years in construction project management, PV design familiarity, and strong Excel/PM tool skills. Travel up to 30% and a PMP certification are preferred; AES offers comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a construction project management role, preferably renewable energy.
• Familiarity with PV solar design and civil/structural knowledge.
• Experience with distributed generation or utility-scale PV; energy storage preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and document RFPs and scopes for EPC firms; participate in EPC selection.
• Conduct due diligence on solar sites and analyze environmental/geo reports.
• Act as Owner’s Representative for EPC contract management on PV solar and energy storage projects.
• Review EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scope, and permits; ensure compliance.
• Coordinate interconnection processes and project stakeholder engagements.
• Support permitting and jurisdictional approvals; facilitate executive level reporting.
• Lead turnover from Construction to Asset Operations; develop operating policies.
