Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee PV solar and energy storage projects from development through turnover to Operations. You will lead EPC scope, due diligence, and contractor management, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

The role reports to the Director of Project Management and requires travel up to 30% to project locations; PMP is preferred, with strong Excel, scheduling, and communication skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and document RFPs and scope of work packages for 3rd party EPC firms.
• Participate in EPC selection and contract negotiation.
• Conduct due diligence on potential solar sites and analyze environmental/geo reports.
• Act as Owner’s Representative for EPC contract management on PV solar & energy storage projects in the US.
• Review and manage EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scope, and safety/permitting."
• Manage utility interconnection processes for construction projects.
