Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Quotations Specialist to lead bidding, pricing and submission processes for a variety of electrical projects. You will prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and coordinate with sales and project teams to ensure accurate, timely responses.

The role requires strong MS Office and Excel skills, excellent communication, and customer-service orientation, with a focus on delivering reliable support for contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Prefer Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) and/or two to four years’ equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience as contractor inside salesperson or manager of lighting projects and/or electrical distribution and control projects.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills.
• Great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Self-directed ownership and bidding on project jobs.
• Manage and provide written quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard, complex or non-standard merchandise.
• Negotiate jobs, prepare and send submittals.
• Responds to requests from customers and salespeople on matters pertaining to the application and operation of various projects throughout a region and address them satisfactorily.
• Assist with planning and presentation of training programs for customers and salespersons in the planning, installation, and operations of various projects.
• Complete write up and send final release of job to project management.
• Resolve customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Prepare correspondence and reports necessary for business transactions.
