Job summary

AES Corporation in the United States is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee high-impact PV solar and energy storage projects through development, construction, commissioning, and turnover to Operations. The role includes due diligence on potential acquisitions and leading construction planning activities.

The successful candidate will coordinate with internal teams and external EPCs, manage budgets and schedules, and travel up to 30% to project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5–10 years in construction project management; renewables preferred.
• Experience with photovoltaic solar design and civil/structural knowledge; DER knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define RFPs and scopes; EPC selection and contract negotiation.
• Due diligence on solar sites and document reviews.
• Owner's Representative for EPC contracts on PV solar and energy storage.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, and permits.
• Liaise with landowners, agencies, customers, suppliers.
• Travel up to 30%.
