Job summary

AES Clean Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee photovoltaic solar and energy storage projects from development through turnover to Operations. You will lead EPC scope, planning, and due diligence, acting as Owner's Project Manager to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.

The role requires coordinating with EPCs, landowners, utilities and regulators, managing 3rd party contractors, and maintaining project documentation. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of construction project management experience.
• Renewable energy and PV solar construction experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PV design and civil/structural standards.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, CPM scheduling, and MS Project/Primavera P6.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and document RFPs and scope of work for 3rd party EPC firms.
• Lead due diligence on solar sites and review reports (environmental, geo-tech, etc.).
• Act as Owner's Representative for EPC contracts on PV solar and energy storage projects.
• Review and manage EPC schedules, budgets, scope, and permits.
• Coordinate interconnection processes and stakeholder engagements.
• Travel to project locations up to 30%.
