AES Clean Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to supervise photovoltaic solar and energy storage projects from development through turnover to Operations. The role includes due diligence, EPC scope definition, and Owner’s Project Manager duties for high-impact projects across the US.

The candidate must have 10+ years in renewable energy project management, EPC negotiation experience, and strong CPM scheduling skills. Travel up to 30% is required; PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of project management experience in renewable energy construction.
• Experience leading EPC contract negotiations.
• Experience in utility-scale PV solar project construction; energy storage preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proficient with CPM scheduling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and document RFPs and scope of work packages for 3rd party EPC firms.
• Lead EPC selection and contract negotiation.
• Review EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scope, and safety plans.
• Coordinate utility interconnection processes and project documentation.
• Lead project status update meetings with AES management and stakeholders.
• Assist with project turnover to Asset Operations and policy development.
