Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Minneapolis/St Paul is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support EPC projects and construction management across aviation, commercial, and power sectors. You will assist with safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, procurement, proposals, estimates, documentation, turnover, and client interface on field-based activities.

Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering (or related field) is required; excellent MS Office skills;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or related field is required.
• Or applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
• Knowledge of document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, proposals and estimates.
• Support client interface and field-based activities to execute EPC projects and construction management.
• Assist with project controls including cost reporting, scheduling and progress tracking.
• Assist with development of project documentation, turnover, and records retention.
• Coordinate with bidders, procurement, and subcontractor registration and pre-qualification efforts.
