Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Atlanta is seeking a Construction Coordinator to assist with administration of safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, procurement, and field activities across EPC projects in aviation, commercial, power, and other sectors. You will support project controls, document management, and client coordination while helping to implement project execution plans and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field required.
• Experience may substitute for degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge of document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software preferred.
• Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, and documentation.
• Support development and implementation of project plans, QA/QC, safety, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate RFPs, bid processes, and scope development for downstream contracts.
• Assist with contract administration including RFIs, submittals, change management, and claims mitigation.
• Support project controls efforts: cost reporting, scheduling, WBS, and progress tracking.
