Job summary

Quanta Services’ QISG unit seeks an experienced EPC Planning & Scheduling Manager to lead integrated planning across multi-project EPC programs. You will build a strong scheduling function, oversee a team of Scheduler/Planners, and drive realistic execution plans with clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will own critical path analysis, coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction, and influence teams to protect milestones while managing risks and recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EPC construction planning and scheduling experience.
• Proven ability to build and mentor Scheduler/Planner teams.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 experience.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling and schedule analytics.
• Experience with EVM, cost/schedule integration, and performance reporting.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Scheduler/Planners supporting complex EPC projects.
• Build and grow the planning and scheduling team with standards and career development opportunities.
• Provide leadership for integrated project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain EPC master schedules aligning engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractor activities, and milestones.
• Partner with clients, subcontractors, project managers, and functional leaders to align execution plans.
• Own critical path analysis and communicate key schedule drivers, risks, constraints, and recovery strategies.
• Analyze schedule logic, lag/lead time, float, sequencing, and resource impacts.
• Oversee CPM and LSM schedule development, including cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
• Lead schedule reviews, baseline development, progress updates, forecasting, and change management.
• Perform schedule risk analysis, critical path reviews, and time impact analysis (TIA).
• Oversee Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, and integrated cost/schedule performance reporting.
• Establish scheduling standards and improve planning discipline across projects and teams.
• Support proposal, pursuit, and project startup planning efforts.
