Job summary

Brightsmith is partnering with a global leader in power and energy infrastructure to deliver major 100MW+ projects across the U.S. You will manage EPC and construction, coordinating development, procurement, and commissioning.

This role supports fast-moving, complex programs including natural gas generation and battery energy storage, with a focus on onsite construction management, scheduling, risk, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering utility-scale power or energy infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on onsite construction management experience (min 2 years).
• Experience with 100MW+ projects.
• Experience across construction and commissioning.
• Experience delivering projects in the U.S.
• Experience with EPC partners, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• PMP certification is advantageous but not essential.

Brightsmith is partnering with a global leader in power and energy infrastructure that is rapidly expanding its presence across the U.S. data center and mission-critical power market.

We’re looking for an experienced EPC Manager to support the delivery of major 100MW+ power infrastructure projects, combining technologies including natural gas generation and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

This is an opportunity to work on some of the most significant power projects supporting the rapid growth of AI and hyperscale data center infrastructure across the U.S.

The Role

You’ll play a key role across the full project lifecycle, including:

• EPC and construction management for 100MW+ power projects


• Project planning, procurement, construction and commissioning


• Managing EPC contractors, suppliers and key project partners


• Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and construction stakeholders


• Supporting projects from development and pre-construction through commissioning and handover


• Managing schedule, risk and execution across complex, fast-moving projects

What We’re Looking For

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

• Strong experience delivering utility-scale power or energy infrastructure projects


• Experience working on projects of 100MW+


• At least 2 years of hands-on, onsite construction management experience


• Strong experience across both construction and commissioning


• Significant experience delivering projects within the U.S.


• Experience with large-scale power generation, renewables, BESS or mission-critical/data center infrastructure


• Proven ability to manage EPC partners, contractors, suppliers and multiple stakeholders


• A collaborative, personable approach with strong commercial and project-management skills


• PMP certification is advantageous but not essential
