Position Overview

This position is a senior leadership opportunity focused on the successful delivery of major mission critical programmes and large-scale capital projects. The role is responsible for providing executive direction across project functions, supporting portfolio performance, and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement. This opportunity will suit a technically strong leader with significant experience in EPC, EPCM, industrial construction, infrastructure, or mission critical environments. The role offers the chance to influence project outcomes, organizational effectiveness, and long-term client relationships at executive level.

Role Context

This opportunity sits within a company delivering engineering, general construction, and electrical services for heavy industrial industries across the United States. The role is aligned to major mission critical programmes and large capital project environments, with relevance to areas such as hyperscale data centers, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing, power generation, LNG, and other complex infrastructure settings. The position operates across large project organisations and multi-disciplinary leadership teams, with responsibility for driving consistent execution, governance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of major projects, programmes, or portfolios within mission critical and large capital project environments.
• Lead senior project leadership teams and establish governance, accountability, and organizational structures that support delivery excellence.
• Maintain oversight of project health, risk management, resource planning, reporting, forecasting, and recovery activities where required.
• Support executive stakeholder engagement and strategic relationship management across key client accounts.
• Drive organizational improvement, leadership development, succession planning, and a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; an advanced degree would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects or programs with Total Installed Costs exceeding $500 million and preferably exceeding $1 billion.
• Extensive progressive experience within EPC, EPCM, industrial construction, infrastructure, mission critical, or major capital project delivery.
• Strong executive leadership background managing large project organisations across multiple disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience delivering major capital projects with very high total installed cost values.
• Proven capability in executive client engagement, strategic account leadership, and senior-level communication.
• Strong commercial, financial, contractual, and organizational leadership skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, DBIA, PE, or equivalent would be beneficial.
