Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Houston, Texas, responsible for leading all aspects of project execution in data center and mission-critical construction projects. You will manage engineering coordination, procurement, and client communications while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in construction project management, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects. The role offers a competitive compensation package including bonuses and equity participation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical and/or MEP-intensive construction.

Job description

We are partnering with a leading EPC and infrastructure organization that is expanding its project management team to support multiple large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects.

This role will lead all aspects of project execution including engineering coordination, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, construction management, and client communication. The successful candidate will oversee complex projects from design through commissioning while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead EPC and Design-Build projects from inception through completion
• Manage engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, contracts, and project budgets
• Develop and manage project schedules, forecasts, and reporting
• Coordinate directly with owners, clients, and project stakeholders
• Support change management, cost control, and risk mitigation efforts
• Drive project safety, quality, and operational excellence initiatives
• Mentor project engineers and junior project management staff

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction project management experience
• Experience delivering data center, mission‑critical, utility, power delivery, industrial EPC, renewable energy, or other large‑scale infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of electrical and/or MEP‑intensive construction projects
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors
• Knowledge of Design‑Build and EPC project delivery methods
• Primavera P6 experience preferred
