Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking a Project Estimator to prepare complete EPC proposals for high-voltage electrical and renewables projects in North America. You will evaluate RFP packages, develop detailed cost estimates, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project controls to ensure compliant submissions.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical estimating, strong knowledge of estimating software (Hard Dollar, Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera), and the ability to manage multiple bids

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Journeyperson Electrician or Power Systems Electrician considered a strong asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimating, EPC or utility sectors.
• Experience with renewable, distribution, and substation projects is a plus.
• Proficient in interpreting drawings, specs, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate RFP packages to understand scope, schedule, deliverables and commercial terms.
• Prepare EPC cost estimates for transmission, distribution, substations and industrial projects.
• Support complete proposal submissions and ensure client requirements are met.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, engineering, procurement and controls teams.
• Develop estimate basis documents and participate in bid review meetings.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing and scope alignment.
• Prepare and hand off estimates to project management after contract award.
