Job summary

Rising Edge Group in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Project Estimator to develop comprehensive EPC proposals for high‑voltage electrical projects. You will independently evaluate RFPs, build multi‑discipline cost estimates, and drive proposal quality with internal stakeholders.

The role requires leadership in estimating strategy, mentorship of junior staff, and collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level or higher in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience estimating electrical EPC projects in utilities, renewables, or industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to develop detailed cost estimates, schedules, and risk registers.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project or Primavera and price-to-win strategies.
• Ability to mentor junior estimators and work across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Experience with takeoffs, pricing inputs, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate RFP packages to determine project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed EPC cost estimates for renewable, distribution, substation, and industrial projects.
• Lead full proposal development including execution plans, cost breakdowns, and schedules.
• Coordinate site visits for constructability reviews and data gathering.
• Develop risk registers, mitigation strategies, and alternative pricing options.
• Mentor junior estimators and drive continuous improvement of estimating tools.
