Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Orlando, FL is seeking a Field Construction Management professional to assist with EPC project execution, safety, quality, and cost control on a diverse mix of aviation, commercial, power, and industrial projects.

You will coordinate project documentation, support procurement, contract administration, field staffing, and reporting, while interfacing with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field required.
• Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.
• Knowledge of document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet driving requirements and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, and procurement.
• Support project team in client relations and interface for proposals and project items.
• Assist with development of project execution and QA plans.
• Assist with field mobilization/demobilization and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate bidding/pre-qualification and RFP packages.
• Support project controls including cost reporting, scheduling, WBS, and progress tracking.
• Prepare internal/external reports and meeting minutes.
• Conduct audits and assessments of safety, quality, progress, and financials.
• Maintain project documentation and filing systems.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
