Bechtel in Tempe, AZ seeks a Buyer to support procurement for an EPC project. You will form and administer purchase orders, coordinate with engineering, logistics, and field delivery, and ensure procurement aligns with schedules and budgets.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with 2–9 years of EPC procurement experience, familiarity with DSCS or similar systems, and strong negotiation skills. This is a full-time role reporting to the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2–9 years of relevant EPC procurement experience preferred.
• Experience forming and administering purchase orders for materials/equipment.
• Experience with materials management, logistics, and field delivery functions.

Responsabilités

• Form, issue, and administer purchase orders aligned with project requirements.
• Support bid processes and coordinate bidder queries.
• Participate in supplier negotiations and term definitions.
• Review requisitions and technical inputs to reflect scope and delivery needs.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Construction for site delivery alignment.
• Monitor supplier performance and PO changes; ensure auditability.
