Job summary

Volunteer Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across our apartment communities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, perform routine maintenance, and prepare units for turnover, ensuring a safe, well-maintained living environment.

Requirements include EPA Certification or HVAC experience, plus a minimum of 2 years in multi-family maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA certification or HVAC experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry.
• Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.
• Ensure grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean and functional.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
