Job summary

Community First Medical Center is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on the Center's HVAC and refrigeration systems in the Chicago area.

The role requires up to three years in HVAC with training and a technical degree; EPA refrigerant certification and HVAC licensing are preferred. Excellent English communication is essential for safe and efficient operation of all mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Up to three years previous experience in HVAC is required; 3+ years preferred.
• Technical Degree required.
• Ability to speak and write English for safe job performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to HVAC and refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted, efficient and safe operation of boilers, heating, cooling, ventilation, and mechanical systems.
• Monitor and maintain safe operation of all utilities and related components.
• Coordinate with other departments to address issues and perform preventive maintenance.
