Job summary

MAA Atlantic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team. You will perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and property facilities in good working order, and prepare units for move-in.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliances, following a preventative maintenance schedule, and communicating with residents after repairs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and property facilities in good working order.
• Prepare apartments for move-in; diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Address plumbing, carpentry and locks; follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule.
• Follow up with residents after repairs are complete.
