Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a dedicated Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to join the EP Lab care team. You will support perioperative nursing care, patient assessment, medication administration, and education for EP procedures, including device implants and diagnostic/interventional cases.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• Two years of experience in cardiology procedural areas.
• Two years of experience as a critical care nurse.
• Basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) where required.
• Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care from assessment through education.
• Coordinate with inter-professional team members and families.
• Manage patient records and data in computerized systems.
• Follow hospital guidelines and participate in quality improvement.
• Assist leadership with quality initiatives.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and teaching.
