Job summary

St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston seeks an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to join the EP Lab team, delivering patient-centered perioperative care and supporting smooth EP procedures and device implantations.

You will provide patient assessment, medication administration, moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and assistance in pre- and post-procedure care while teaching patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care in the EP Lab, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
