Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator for the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. You will lead Structural Heart patient care areas, mentor the nursing team, and ensure adherence to nursing standards while coordinating with support services to optimize care delivery.

You will drive workflow improvements, support staffing, and help shape the future of EP and Structural Heart services in a highly specialized cardiovascular setting.

Qualifications

BSN degree or higher preferred with three years of related nursing experience.
Current RN licensure in South Carolina or a compact state.
BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide direct leadership and management for Structural Heart and EP Lab patient care areas.
Coach and develop nursing care team members.
Promote teamwork, engagement, accountability and clinical excellence.
Ensure nursing standards and patient care are consistently maintained.
Serve as liaison between clinical and support services.
Develop and operate effective care delivery systems.
Support staffing and professional delivery of clinical services.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and the care team experience.
Remain connected to frontline operations and support 20% of staffing needs as needed.
