MedCadre is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology RN to deliver specialized care for patients undergoing EP studies and cardiac procedures. You will monitor patients, assist with procedures, administer meds, and uphold high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and support staff, with a focus on accurate documentation and patient education throughout the peri-procedural period.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Prior cardiac, electrophysiology, cath lab, or critical care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and patient monitoring.
• Strong clinical judgement and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.

Responsabilités

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after electrophysiology procedures.
• Prepare patients and the procedure area for EP studies and cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor cardiac rhythm, vital signs, and patient responses throughout procedures.
• Assist physicians with electrophysiology procedures and interventions.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and cardiac emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and recovery.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and radiation safety practices.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
