VCU Health's Outpatient Electrophysiology Device and Arrhythmia Nurse Coordinator provides clinical cardiology knowledge and supports EP patients across the health system. The role coordinates patient management, assists in patient flow, and interprets device readings and ECG data to guide safe care.

Education includes a Nursing degree with preferred advanced cardiology certification; EPIC proficiency is required to document and manage orders, med refills, and education for patients.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Advanced certifications in cardiology or electrophysiology preferred.
• Experience coordinating care for cardiac patients and device patients.

Responsabilidades

• Manages patient care to optimize outcomes with care goals.
• Analyze remote transmissions from pacemakers/defibrillators and devices.
• Coordinate testing and follow-up to decrease ED visits.
• Assist with pre/post patient assessments and orders in EPIC.
• Collaborate with EP Lab, Radiology, and referring providers.
