VCU Health's Outpatient Electrophysiology program seeks a Nurse Coordinator to support electrophysiology patients, coordinate care in EPIC, interpret device transmissions, and collaborate with the EP Lab and cardiology providers.

The role includes pre/post assessments, patient education, medication refills, same-day testing coordination, and travel to Williamsburg, Stony Point, and Downtown clinics to support schedules and patient flow.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program (preferred).
• Certification in specialty area (cardiac nursing or electrophysiology).
• Current Virginia RN licensure or eligibility; BLS required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in cardiology; ECG interpretation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze/interpret remote transmissions from pacemakers, defibrillators, heart monitors and smart watches.
• Assist providers in clinic with pre and post patient assessments and document in EPIC.
• Coordinate same-day testing and urgent prior authorizations for testing.
• Manage patient care across the continuum from testing to implantation and follow-up care.
• Travel to Williamsburg, Stony Point and Downtown clinics as needed.
