Job summary

VCU Health System Authority is seeking an Outpatient Electrophysiology Device and Arrhythmia Nurse Coordinator. The role supports electrophysiology patients across the health system, coordinating care, device data reviews, and patient flow in clinics.

The Nurse Coordinator collaborates with EP Lab and referring providers, facilitates pre/post assessments, reviews histories in EPIC, and ensures safe, efficient care with education on medications and testing orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Master's degree in Nursing (or higher) preferred.
• Current Virginia RN license or eligible; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Manages care of the patient population to optimize outcomes with care goals.
• Analyze remote transmissions from pacemakers/defibrillators and smart devices.
• Coordinate testing and manage testing orders and referrals across care continuum.
• Assist providers in clinic with pre/post patient assessments and medication refills.
• Provide patient education on heart rate, rhythm control and anticoagulation.
