Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an EO Signal Image Processing Engineer in Chandler, AZ to support the Seeker IPT. You will help develop physics-based EO/IR models and validate algorithms within simulation tools, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a BS or higher in Optical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Math, plus experience in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, and HPC environments. A DoD security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with image or signal processing and implementing algorithms in C/C++, Python, MATLAB.
• Exposure to EO/IR modeling concepts and hardware-based model validation.
• Familiarity with HPC environments and running simulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and validation of EO/IR seeker models and algorithms.
• Implement and test image/signal processing algorithms within simulation frameworks.
• Collaborate with systems, software, firmware, and hardware teams on M&S tasks and verification.
