Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff EO Signal Image Processing Engineer in Chandler, AZ, to lead the development of advanced EO/IR simulations and physics-based models. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with GNC, software, and hardware teams to ensure flight-test readiness and program success.

You will apply expert-level EO/IR phenomenology, manage scene generators, and drive modeling standards and verification across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Breadth: image/signal processing algorithms & physical optics system simulation for EO/IR.
• Experience coordinating and leading teams to deliver models and algorithm solutions for EO/IR systems.
• Proven leadership in modeling and simulation for complex, high-reliability systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of high-fidelity seeker simulations and physics-based models (6DOF).
• Oversee modeling, simulation, and algorithm development for program objectives.
• Develop and integrate image/signal processing algorithms into simulations; optimize performance.
