Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using approved methodologies. The role involves standing for long periods, handling organic solvents, glassware, and specialized equipment, with a 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm, Tue-Sat.

Training will be M-F 7am-3:30pm. Qualifications include a BS/BA in Chemistry or related field (or an Associate Degree or 2 years of lab experience), English proficiency, and authorization to work in the

• BS/BA in chemistry or related field; or Associate Degree; or 2 years lab experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analyses and evaluate data.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC samples
• Inventory and wash glassware.
