Job summary

Veolia Environnement SA in North America seeks a transportation and disposal specialist to service clients, handling manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, and coordinating transport while complying with DOT/EPA and Veolia policies.

Requires high school diploma; bachelor's preferred; 40-hour HAZWOPER; valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Class A/B CDL with Hazardous endorsement; strong team player and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to follow through on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to policies.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup and labeling; coordinate transportation.
• Maintain professional image and respond to client inquiries with solutions.
• Comply with health, safety, and regulatory procedures per Veolia policies.
• Learn DOT/EPA and Veolia rules for hazardous waste paperwork.
• Operate and maintain equipment for safe, efficient disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
