Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a transportation specialist to provide specialized disposal services to our clients. You will manifest, package, label, load, and coordinate the transportation of hazardous waste while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's in chemistry is preferred. Certifications include 40-hour HAZWOPER, a valid Driver's License, and the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL with Hazardous endorsement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to prescribed policies and procedures.
• Manifest, package, spill clean-up, labeling, loading/unloading, and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions.
• Comply and enforce all compliance, health, safety, and procedures in accordance with Veolia policies.
• Become familiar with all relevant DOT/EPA and Veolia regulations for disposal paperwork.
• Operate and maintain all equipment in a professional manner to ensure efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
