Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Transportation and Disposal Specialist to provide specialized services to clients, including manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, loading, and coordinating transportation under DOT/EPA and Veolia policies. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field is preferred.

A 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and a valid driver’s license are required, with potential to obtain Class A/B CDL with Hazardous

Qualifications

• Must be a strong team player with good communication skills.
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Proficient with computers and standard software.
• Ability to follow through on assignments and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to policies.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup, labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating transportation.
• Maintain professional image and communicate with clients to resolve issues.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Familiarity with DOT/EPA and Veolia policies for disposal paperwork.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
