Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Environmental Technician as part of the Clean Earth integration. You will consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in compliance with regulations and company policies. You’ll perform hands-on field and warehouse tasks, including forklift operation and documentation.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, outdoor work in all weather, and a HS diploma or GED. Training provided; pay and benefits outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Forklift operation and material movement experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all climates and indoors in non-climate-controlled areas.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport and dispose of hazardous waste following regulations and policies.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Move containers to storage and treatment areas using forklift and equipment.
• Operate safely in warehouse and outdoor environments.
