Veolia is hiring Environmental Technicians in the United States. You will join a team that handles hazardous waste, learning environmental regulations and compliant practices. The role involves physically active duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift operation, and moving containers across storage and treatment areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds during the shift.
• Able to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
• Visual acuity to read labels; depth perception for forklift operation.
• Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms.
• Work outdoors in all climates and indoors in non-climate-controlled areas.
• Willingness to wear PPE including glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.

Responsabilités

• Join a team responsible for hazardous waste removal, treatment, storage, transport and/or disposal in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Perform required documentation accurately and timely according to regulations and customer procedures.
• Operate forklifts and move containers between storage, treatment areas and trailers as needed.
