Job Description

Environmental Technicians are essential to our operations. You will learn about environmental regulations and hazardous waste removal. Once trained, you will consolidate, treat, store, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste responsibly and in compliance with all policies and regulations. The job involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, operating forklifts and mobile equipment, and completing documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

Basic requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods
• Good vision to read labels and documentation; depth perception for forklift operation
• Ability to hear alarms and warning chimes
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled settings
• Wearing required PPE including safety glasses, hard hats, steel-toed shoes, gloves, coveralls, and respirators (no beards for proper fit)

Preferred qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
• Basic computer skills for training
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Reliable attendance; willingness to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
• Professional and courteous interaction with customers and coworkers
